For this project, I coded and designed a fully functional “About Me” webpage using HTML and CSS. This was one of my first experiences creating a live, interactive page from scratch, and it taught me how to structure, style, and bring personality into web design through coding.
The site highlighted my favorite directors (Christopher Nolan, David Fincher, and Quentin Tarantino) and their films, combining personal storytelling with clean, functional design. I incorporated typography, color styling, and layout principles directly through CSS, experimenting with elements like positioning, opacity, and flexbox alignment to create a dynamic page.
Key Features:
HTML structure for organizing content (headings, images, movie sections, and personal facts).
CSS styling to control background color, custom typography, spacing, and interactive elements.
Integrated links (like my Letterboxd profile) to connect the page with external media.
Custom visual accents, including shapes, stars, and highlighted sections to bring in a cinematic feel.
This project helped me bridge my design skills with front-end web development, building confidence in coding while still maintaining a strong sense of visual identity.
