rhode packaging design: retail shopping & gifting experience

This project explores the design of a cohesive retail packaging and gifting system for Rhode, a minimal skincare brand. The system extends beyond individual product packaging to create a unified shopping and gifting experience, including a paper shopping bag, tissue paper, product cartons, and a gift card with sleeve.

The design emphasizes minimalism, softness, and intentionality, aligning with Rhode’s brand identity. Through restrained typography, neutral tones, and subtle color accents, the system creates a calm, elevated, and cohesive experience that enhances both retail interaction and gifting moments.

Project Objective:
Design a series of packaging components that function together as a retail and/or gifting system, including:

* Shopping bag
* Self-folding cartons
* Optional gifting materials (card, sleeve, tissue)

Target Audience:
Consumers who value skincare as a daily ritual and are drawn to modern, minimal, and accessible luxury brands.
